Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Trello is a free, web-based project management application. Trello provides a digital platform for communication and documentation of progress on project tasks and indicates when team goals have been achieved. The app is easy to learn and to navigate, which makes it simple for team members to successfully incorporate its use as part of their daily routine. Using Trello can support group projects completed by team members with conflicting schedules, by colleagues at multiple institutions, or by collaborators in different time zones. Key features of Trello include digital boards, checklists, assigning member roles, and cards that visually represent various elements of a project. Trello’s flexibility makes it possible for researchers to digitally plan, organize, and delegate tasks to enhance collaboration and productivity. Our session will demonstrate how we have used Trello to manage a research team comprised of undergraduate and graduate students. We will provide examples of how different projects can be constructed and monitored using Trello and explain how to mitigate barriers in its implementation.
